About the quest
The quest was initially developed under version 1.90, in the Edited Demo Set by Exate. As the quest progressed, more and more was needed. In August 2005, Exate himself persuaded Bloodstar to move the quest up to version 1.92 (beta 182). Since then, the quest has flourished, taking advantage of some of the new version's features without blatantly overusing them. Some of the such features include:
- Tile animation
- Free switching between combo pages ("combopagelessness")
- Several new flags, allowing such things such as a block to be pushed over to a trigger, or slashing a switch
- New quest flags, such as freeform dungeons
- New combo types, such as Lock Blocks, Pits, and several others
- New items
And yet more...
The quest was originally completed on July 10th, 2009, however extensive bug testing and enhancements needed to be made. As of July 24th, however, the quest is ready for release. So what're you waiting for? Go grab it!
